For all my humble years of journalism, I might call myself lucky since I haven’t had to do pudding reviews (don’t mind eating them though) or how to remove hair from moles (I do that too occasionally). With all my respect to the experts in the aforementioned areas. Now I know it takes a rare talent. An assignment on wedding lists by Ahram Weekly took me two months to finish, to break through my principles. I nailed it. It felt good. Two months later, I left AH and they fired me simultaneously.
